Who I Am
I am a corporate lawyer with over a decade of experience advising a.o. listed companies, investment funds and financial institutions on securities law, corporate governance and regulatory compliance. Belgian REITs (Gereglementeerde Vastgoedvennootschappen / Sociétés Immobilières Réglementées) are a specific part of my expertise and field of interest.
As Director in the Corporate and M&A practice, I combine technical expertise with a pragmatic approach, helping clients navigate complex legal requirements while enabling their growth and transformation.
I am active at our Ghent office.
What I Do
- Advise listed companies on securities issues (public offers and private placements)
- Counsel on corporate governance, transparency, and market abuse rules
- Advise on Belgian REITs (GVVs/SIRs), real estate funds and alternative investment funds (managers)
- Support clients with sustainability-related disclosures, including CSRD and CSDDD obligations
- Provide guidance on broader corporate and capital markets regulation
