Who I am
I am Director at Deloitte Legal, where I head the Dispute Resolution and Insolvency & Restructuring division of the Commercial Law team. I combine over 16 years of experience in commercial and corporate litigation, arbitration, insolvency and restructuring to help clients navigate complex business-critical disputes. I am active at our Zaventem office.
What I do
- Advise and represent clients in commercial and corporate litigation, arbitration, fraud and white-collar crime cases, as well as general contract and tort law.
- Act as trusted advisor to Belgian and international clients across sectors, ranging from start-ups and scale-ups to multinationals.
- Support companies in insolvency and restructuring or creditors of such companies, having played a key advisory role in landmark proceedings including O’Cool, Electrawinds, Lehman Brothers, Thomas Cook, and many more
Who I work with
I work closely with businesses facing litigation risks or financial distress, as well as with EU Member States and public authorities on the implementation of restructuring frameworks. I collaborate across Deloitte Legal and Deloitte’s multidisciplinary network to provide clients with robust, business-minded solutions.

Credentials and leadership
- Recognised as a restructuring specialist by Leaders League and Legal 500.
- Contributor to Debt Restructuring, an Alternative to Insolvency Proceedings (Thomson Reuters, 2014) and regular speaker on Belgian insolvency and restructuring law.
- Member of the Belgian Turnaround Association (BETA).
- Completed mandatory training to act as bankruptcy administrator in Belgium.
