Deloitte Legal assists Xior Student Housing with the set-up of a new real estate fund

We are proud to have advised Xior Student Housing on the set-up of a new real estate fund, 'XL Fund', together with the real estate developer L.I.F.E.

As part of the operation, XL Fund acquired six student residences and projects located in Belgium and the Netherlands for an expected total investment value of around EUR 155 million. XL Fund will apply to be included on the list of specialised real estate investment funds (GVBF/FIIS).

Xior Student Housing was assisted by a multidisciplinary team, consisting of Deloitte Legal's David Roelens, Maximilien van de Werve, Astrid Delanghe, Jasper Verberckmoes, Bert Verhoeven and Sam Gommers, as well as Deloitte Belgium's Mike Van Gils (Real estate Tax) and Ben Vandeweyer (Audit & Assurance).
