Kristof Maresceau talks to De Juristenkrant about the New Company Code fully in force since 1 January 2020

Kristof Maresceau, Director in the Corporate and M&A team within Deloitte Legal - Lawyers (formerly Laga), recently gave an overall assessment of the new Belgian Companies and Associations Code with De Juristenkrant. Despite a few "missed opportunities and pain points" due to political reasons, the new code is “more than welcome”, he concludes.  

Since the new rules came into full effect from 1 January 2020, Kristof also highlighted some good practices and attention points to be taken into account by clients and companies.
