Deloitte Legal advises Kris De Leeneer on real estate deal with WDP

Deloitte Legal is proud to have advised Kris De Leeneer, a company specialized in the transport and logistical processing of food products and proud recipient of the “Transporter of the Year 2025’ award, with an integrated real estate deal with WDP. The deal consisted of (i) the sale-and-lease back of KDL’s fully automated warehouse in Lokeren via a contribution in kind in the capital of WDP, (ii) a built-to-suit project for a new fully automated and sustainable warehouse close by the current warehouse in Lokeren and (iii) a temporary leasing in Zele.

Deloitte Legal fielded a multidisciplinary team composed of Corporate M&A (David Roelens en Sophie Wyckmans) and Real Estate (Maximilien van de Werve de Schilde and Laura Carmans) specialists under the overall lead of David Roelens.
