Deloitte Legal (as formerly Laga) sell-side legal advisor in sale of GMAN and Groep Bruyninx by Alcopa to VMAG

Deloitte Legal is proud to have advised Alcopa in the sale of GMAN and Groep Bruyninx to Van Mossel Automotive Groep (VMAG).

Deloitte Legal fielded a multi-disciplinary team of lawyers drawn from the Corporate and M&A, Real Estate and EU Competition practices. The team was led by Marc Van tieghem (Corporate and M&A Partner), and further included key members Wouter D’herde, Yannick Van den broeke (both Corporate and M&A Senior Associates), Maxime Van der Weehe (Corporate and M&A Junior Associate), Maximilien van de Werve de Schilde (Real Estate Partner) and Hendrik Viaene (EU Competition Partner).

Alcopa is a Belgian family owned industrial group that is internationally active in various sectors, including the automotive and building materials industries. The sale of GMAN and Groep Bruyninx represents a partial exit by Alcopa from the automotive dealership segment, with mainly Fidenco and Autopolis remaining in Alcopa’s portfolio.
